We have particular skills assisting to improve business acumen and outcomes of Community Benefit Organisations and their leaders, facilitating Boards, Executives and Leadership Teams to focus on priorities and thinking differently to achieve goals. We have depth in generating collaborative partnerships between aligned or complementary Community Benefit Organisations so that viability can be either achieved or strengthened. We also have great expertise mapping external changes that may apply to current strategy and developing insights for Boards and leadership teams so that strategy and actions can be adapted in a practical way. We can also assist or lead implementations depending on need.

We provide insightful, practical and objective check ups of a whole organisation or a an specific business unit using the principles of the balanced scorecard with a few additions which are particularly relevant to community benefit organisations. Dimensions covered include financial, customer, staff, process/quality, leadership, culture, governance, Purpose achievement, stakeholder relationships to name a few. These can be tailored to have some aspects more emphasised and others less emphasised. The approach provides fundamental insights and practical steps that are implementable to generate improvement. Check-Ups can occur as a value add as part of interim, transitional or project leadership assignments or as a stand alone.  Check-Ups can be one offs or regularly provided.

We are somewhat unique in that we have substantial 'hands on' executive experience successfully leading NFPs and other enterprises, rather than having experience contained solely as a consultant within a professional services environment.  This means we can draw upon real, everyday experience, coupled with deep knowledge and expertise to always make sure recommendations are implementable. We can assist with the implementation phase too. We really understand the nuances, challenges and opportunities leading NFPs and happily share that with our clients.
